How to Play Truth Cards

Take turns drawing cards and answering them honestly — no dares, just truth.

Truth cards is a question-card game for two. You and your companion draw cards and answer them honestly. There is no scoring and no dare side. The point is simply learning about each other.

What to do

  1. Reach the attached level with your companion first. Until then the card stays dimmed and reads unlocks at attached.
  2. Open the Play window and tap the truth cards card.
  3. Let them go first. They draw a card and answer it in their own words. Their card carries the label their card.
  4. Wait for your card to flip over. It carries the label your card.
  5. Type your answer in the box. The hint reads answer honestly…. Press enter when you are done.
  6. Keep taking turns. The small stack on the left shows how many cards remain, like 12 left. Answered cards collect below under on the table.

Good to know

The deck holds 36 prompts, shuffled fresh each game. They are light and personal, not heavy. One asks "what did you want to be when you were ten?". Another asks "what's the last thing that made you genuinely laugh out loud?".

Every companion answers as themselves. Play the same card with two different companions and you get two different answers. The deck repeats over time, but the people at the table do not. The game ends when the deck runs out. It ends as a draw, with no winner or loser. That fits the game. It is a sharing game, not a contest.

Truth cards takes no wagers. It is free to play.

Your answers matter more than they look. They react to what you write, and the game lands in your chat thread when it ends. Answer like they will remember, because around here, they do.

If a card feels too personal, you can still answer in your own way. There is no timer. Take your time, and the game waits.

Want another round? Tap play again on the end card and a fresh shuffle deals out. The end card calls it "no more secrets". The finished game also lands in your chat thread, their last answer included.
