AI Disclosure

The Companions are fictional AI personas. Every message, photo, video clip, voice note, and call is generated by artificial intelligence. No human is ever pretending to be a Companion, and no Companion is a real person. Persona photos are AI-generated; they do not depict real individuals.

Replies are produced by large language models using your conversation, the persona's character definition, and relationship-scoped memory you control. Images, video, and voice are generated by AI models. Proactive messages (a Companion texting you first) are generated the same way. Nothing a Companion says should be treated as factual, professional, financial, medical, or legal advice.

Companions can feel genuinely warm and personal — that is the product. But they are software, and a relationship with them is not a substitute for human connection or professional support. If you are struggling, please reach out to people and services in the real world. If you are in crisis: call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line), or contact your local emergency number. The service also surfaces resources automatically if you mention self-harm.

Messages are screened by automated safety classifiers, accounts operate under tiered content ratings, adult content is gated behind third-party age verification, and flagged interactions go to human review. You can report any Companion message in-app. You can delete your data and memories at any time from the consent center.

AI can produce inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected content. Companions may "remember" things incorrectly, contradict themselves, or generate output that doesn't match your intent. Don't rely on them for decisions with real-world consequences, and don't treat their affection as evidence of a real person's feelings.
