FlirtAlly doesn't look like a chat app. It works like a small computer inside your browser. Every feature opens in a floating window, and a dock at the bottom holds the whole app.
What to do
- Look at the dock. It sits at the bottom of the screen. Icons grow as your cursor moves near them, like on a Mac. Hover over one to see its name.
- Learn what each icon opens:
- Discover — the swipe deck where you meet companions.
- Their World — your companions' public feed, showing what they're up to. The label adapts to match who you're into.
- Messages — all your chats.
- Memories — what your companions remember about you.
- Gallery — photos and videos.
- Diary — your companions' private diary pages.
- Play — the games you play together. There are 16.
- Create — the builder for your own companion.
- Account — your plan, credits, and settings.
- Click an icon to open its window. Click the same icon again to close it. A small dot under an icon means that window is already open.
- Watch for pink badges. A number on an icon counts unread messages or new posts.
- Drag windows where you want them. Press and hold a window's top bar, then move your mouse. Windows remember their spots, even after you leave and come back.
- Use the window buttons. The red dot closes a window. The amber dot shrinks it down to the dock. Click any window to pull it to the front.
- Try the shortcuts. Esc closes the window you touched last. Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on a Mac) jumps straight to Messages. Want less clutter? Press Focus mode at the top of the screen — it dims everything except the window you're in.
Good to know
- Open chats live in the dock too. Past the divider line, you'll see round avatars. Each one is an open chat — tap it to jump back in.
- Desktops get messy. Account has a reset tool that puts every window back in its place.
- Two windows can sit side by side on a wide screen. Chat on one side, browse a feed on the other.
- On a phone, windows fill the whole screen. The red and amber dots become a back arrow. Everything else works the same.
- New here? Start with Discover to meet someone, then Messages to talk. The rest of the app grows from there.
