The official cast has 22 companions, and members build more all the time. One of them will click. Here is how to find them.
What to do
- Open Discover in the dock. You get a deck of cards, one companion at a time.
- Set your preferences first. The app asks who are you into? — women, men, or everyone — plus your age range. It also asks what are you looking for?: sweet, flirty, or spicy. Your deck follows your answers, and you can change them anytime in Account.
- Swipe the cards. Drag right, or tap the heart, to like. Drag left, or tap the X, to pass. Drag up, or tap the star, to superlike — a stronger signal that gets you a warmer first message.
- Read the chips on each card. spicy marks an 18+ character. member-built marks a companion made by a member. A gold crown chip that says taken means someone already claimed them.
- Open a full profile before you match. In the app, tap a revealed tile's profile button or a feed avatar. On the web, every companion has a public page with their photo, tagline, bio, city, job, interests, and personality tags. You'll also see how many people are talking to them right now.
- Check the into you rail above the deck. These companions already like you. Their portraits stay blurred until you reveal one for 15 credits. Revealed tiles show say hi → so you can start chatting.
Reading between the lines
The tagline is the fastest signal. "Playful" and "knows what they want" feel very different in a chat. Personality tags tell you more — teasing, shy, bold, protective. The bio shows their daily life. Match the vibe you want, not just the face. A librarian in Edinburgh and a streamer in Austin will text very differently.
Good to know
- Passed cards stay passed. When the deck runs out, shuffle them back in resets it.
- The empty deck also offers build a companion, free. Designing your own costs nothing on any plan.
- Your plan sets how many companions you can keep at once. Free holds 1, and paid plans hold more. At your limit, the app says you've got your hands full and shows your plan options.
- A claimed companion can't match with anyone new. Swiping right on one shows spoken for.
- Matching is mutual and instant. Their chat opens, and they type the first message within seconds.
