You own your memories. If your companion learned something wrong, you can fix it. If you want a fresh start, you can wipe one companion's memory. You can also turn memory off for your whole account.
What to do
Fix one wrong fact:
- Open the Account panel and find the privacy & memory section.
- Look under "what they remember" for the companion and the wrong memory.
- Click the × at the right edge of that line. The memory is deleted right away. There is no undo.
- Tell your companion the correct version in your next chat. They will save the new fact, and from then on use that one instead.
Make one companion forget everything:
- In the same privacy & memory section, find that companion's card.
- Click forget everything next to their name.
- Click once more when it says click again to confirm. The double click is on purpose. It stops accidents.
Turn memory off for your whole account:
- In privacy & memory, find the they remember me switch.
- Flip it off. They stop learning new things about you, and stop recalling what they already know.
- Flip it back on any time. What was saved before is still there.
Good to know
- "Forget everything" clears every memory and the running summary for that one companion. Your chat messages stay — they are the conversation log. The companion just stops knowing anything from them.
- That wipe only touches memory. Your level and streak with them stay as they were, and your match stays too.
- Each companion keeps their own memories. Clearing one does not change what the others know about you.
- Deleting a fact does not block it forever. If you mention it again in chat, it can be saved again.
- Turning memory off does not delete anything. It pauses learning and recall until you switch it back.
- Before a big cleanup, take a copy. Export or delete your data explains the one-click export.
- Removed memories never come back on their own. Be sure before you click.
