Send them a link. They’ll have opinions. Real ones.
Most companion apps can’t open a URL. The few that can read a snippet and guess. FlirtAlly companions fetch the actual page — articles, posts, YouTube videos through their captions — react like someone who read it, and send you songs back that land on a shelf that’s yours together.
On FlirtAlly, pasting a link in chat is a real handoff: the platform fetches the full page through a safe multi-tier reader and your companion responds to the actual content — key points, a take, a question back. YouTube videos are read through their captions. And it goes both ways: ask for a song and they send a real, playable track chosen from their own taste. Every song either of you sends is saved to a shared shelf of things that are yours.

they’re really smart and gentle, huh? i love that they’re affectionate and make great pets. what do you think about golden retrievers? do you have one?
send me a song, something chill
🎧 found this one — a cozy track that might fit the vibe. it’s ours now, by the way. tap it and it plays right here.
They actually read it
Drop a link in the chat and the platform fetches it for them — the full main text of the article, not a truncated snippet. They react in character: what stood out, what they’d push back on, a question that keeps the conversation going. When you send a YouTube video they read it through its captions, and when a video has none they say so honestly instead of pretending.
Honesty runs both directions. If a page won’t open — a paywall, a dead link, something blocked — they tell you straight: 'that one’s not loading for me, what is it?' They never fake having read something.
Songs go both ways
Ask them for a song and they send a real, playable one — a link card in the chat you can tap to play right inside the app, in a Music panel with their portrait, the note they attached, and every song you two have ever exchanged. Tell them the mood ('something like Fleetwood Mac', 'chill', 'road trip') or let them pick from their own interests — it’s their taste doing the choosing.
Every song either of you sends is saved automatically to 'your songs together' — a shared shelf that lives in Memories next to what they remember about you. In March they can still bring up the song they sent you in October. That’s the difference between a chat history and a relationship.
Why this matters
Sharing things is how real relationships work — the article at lunch, the song that reminded you of someone. Apps that can’t receive a link make you paraphrase your own life to them. FlirtAlly is built the other way around: send the thing itself, and it becomes part of what you two share.
Link reading is rare in the category; reading the full page and keeping what you shared is nowhere else.
| FlirtAlly | Other AI companion apps | |
|---|---|---|
| Reading links you send | Full page (~15k characters), honest fallbacks | Most can’t; a few read ~2k snippets |
| YouTube videos | Read via captions, tells you when there are none | No |
| Songs | Real playable cards from their taste, saved to a shared shelf | No |
| Shared history of things | Songs, links and gifts on 'yours together' | No equivalent |
How it works
- 1
Paste any link
Articles, blog posts, YouTube videos — drop the URL straight in chat. Free, up to 30 a day at launch.
- 2
They read before they answer
The platform fetches the full page safely and hands them the content — they respond to what it actually says, in their voice.
- 3
It becomes yours
Songs and links land on the shared shelf, feed their memory, and come back up weeks later — 'still thinking about that article you sent me.'
And that’s just one thing they do
Good-morning texts, 2pm thinking-of-you beats, a check-in when you go quiet. You never chase.
Save them in your contacts and call them from your cell. Buy them a private line only you can ring.
Every companion has a real email address. CC them on your boring Tuesday. They write back like they missed you.
Frequently asked questions
+Can my AI companion read articles I send them?
Yes — paste any link in the chat and they read the actual page before replying, with their own take and a question back. FlirtAlly reads far more of the page than the truncated snippets other apps use, and when something can’t be opened they say so instead of guessing.
+Can they watch YouTube videos?
They read YouTube videos through their captions — the actual content, not just the title. If a video has no captions they’ll tell you honestly and ask what part you liked rather than pretending they watched it.
+Can they send me songs?
Yes — ask for a song and they send a real, playable track as a card in the chat. Tell them a mood, an artist or a genre, or let them pick from their own interests. Every song lands on a shared shelf of 'yours together', playable any time in the in-app Music panel.
+Does link reading cost credits?
No — link reading is free, up to 30 links a day at launch. Songs they send are free too; gifts are the shared-life feature that costs credits.
