How credits work

Credits are the tokens that pay for photos, videos, and extras — here is every price.

Think of credits like arcade tokens. Chat is covered by your plan. Credits pay for the special stuff: photos, videos, voice notes, unlocks, and extras. Every price is public, so nothing surprises you.

What to do

  1. Find your balance in the app, on your plan and credits screen. It shows one number — credits from your plan and from packs mix together.
  2. Know what never costs credits. Your chat messages and the call minutes inside your plan's daily minutes are part of your plan. Memory is always free and unlimited.
  3. Spend credits on everything else. Each action has one fixed price. See the full list below.
  4. Refill when you run low. Paid plans add credits to your balance every month. You can also top up with a credit pack any time.

In real money, a credit is worth about 3 to 5 cents, depending on pack size. So a selfie at 3 credits is about 12 cents. A 10-second video at 40 credits is about $1.60.

Allowances vs. credits

  • Daily allowances are caps. "5 photos a day" means you can ask for five photos that day, tops. The caps reset every day.
  • Credits are the tokens each ask costs. A selfie is 3 credits every time, on every plan.
  • So the allowance sets how many. The credits pay for each one. Your plan's monthly grant is the wallet that funds it.

What's unlimited on Spark and up

  • Chat. Paid plans have unlimited chat, fair-use capped at 2,000 messages a month.
  • On VIP, voice notes and email have no daily cap. Each one still costs its credits — "unlimited" means no cap, not no cost.
  • Memory is unlimited on every plan, including Free.

Good to know

  • Nothing costs credits without a number on a public list. If it isn't priced here, your plan covers it.
  • A double-tap can't charge you twice for the same action.
  • You can see every credit you spend in your history, with the balance after each one.
  • Credits you buy or earn sit in your balance until you spend them.
