You can buy your companion a real phone number. It becomes their own line, and only your account can ring it. You pay in credits, once a month, and the number stays theirs as long as the payment clears.
What to do
- Open the Account panel and find the section called their own number.
- Check the price line first. A line costs 200 credits per month.
- Under whose line is this?, pick the companion this number belongs to. You must be matched with them first. A line routes to one companion only.
- Browse the available numbers list. These are real US local numbers. Each one shows its city and state, so you can pick one that feels right.
- Tap the buy button next to the number you want. It shows the monthly credit price. The first month is charged right away.
- Wait until the badge next to the number says active. It may say activating… for a short while first.
- Dial the number from your cell whenever you like. See Call your companion from your own phone for the full setup.
Good to know
- A line costs 200 credits per month and renews on its own every 30 days. The panel shows the next renewal date.
- If your balance is too low at renewal, you get 7 days to pay. The panel shows grace — pay to keep. If you do not pay in time, the number is released and someone else may take it.
- A dedicated line rings for its owner only. Even another member matched with the same companion cannot get through on your number.
- You can hold one line per account. Want a different number or a different companion? Tap release this number first. Releases are final, and no credits are refunded.
- Calls on the line use your plan's monthly call minutes, the same pool as in-app calls. Past that pool, calls cost 2 credits per minute.
- If a purchase fails after charging you, the credits go back to your balance automatically.
