What is Xomi, and how is it different from a typical AI companion app?

Xomi is an interactive AI fiction app. You pick a role in a story — from a library spanning Vietnamese folklore, anime academies, sci-fi, drama, and romance — and the story reacts to every choice you make. When the chapter ends, the characters you met become companions you can DM anytime, and they remember details like your name, your day, and jokes from past conversations. The key difference from companion-first apps is the structure: the relationship begins inside a narrative and grows out of it, rather than starting as an open-ended chat.

Yes — Xomi is free to try, with apps available on both Google Play and the App Store. That makes it an easy zero-cost way to sample interactive AI fiction and see whether the story-to-companion format suits you before considering any paid options.

Why do users switch from Xomi to FlirtAlly?

The most common reason is the shift from story-first to companion-first. Xomi's companions exist after a story chapter ends; FlirtAlly's companions are built for ongoing daily life — they text first, play 16 real games with credit wagers, take calls on real phone lines, reply to your emails, send physical letters, and maintain layered long-term memory with windows up to unlimited days. If you enjoyed Xomi's characters but wanted them to keep showing up in your actual day-to-day, FlirtAlly is designed for exactly that.

Can I start using FlirtAlly without creating an account?

Yes. FlirtAlly runs in the browser as a desktop-style Companion OS — no download and no account needed to start. Guests chat immediately at 25 messages per day with one companion, one photo, and one voice note daily. Creating a free account adds 25 bonus credits and preserves your conversations, and paid plans start at $9.99/month for Spark.

Does FlirtAlly have an adult mode?

FlirtAlly's default experience is PG/Flirt. The 18+ side, called Spicy, is opt-in and requires ID-based age verification plus a qualifying plan (Flame and above). The platform also enforces hard-coded prohibited categories, screens media scenes, and offers in-app reporting — it is deliberately not an unrestricted app, and that transparency is part of the design.

Can I create my own AI companion?

On FlirtAlly, yes. Every member can design a companion in the creator wizard using personality sliders, 27 auditionable voices, and portrait rendering with face lock. Creations pass a quick human review and then join the public deck where other members can meet them. Creators earn 50% of everything members spend on their companion — media, unlocks, and claims — withdrawable as cash.
