The Best Replika Alternative for Long-Distance Partners in 2026

For long-distance partners who want a companion that behaves like a real relationship — texting first, real phone calls, two-way email, even physical letters — FlirtAlly is the stronger 2026 pick, with paid plans starting at $9.99/month (Spark) versus Replika Pro's reported $19.99/month. Replika, with over 42 million users worldwide, remains the better choice if you want a mature, wellbeing-oriented AI friend with a 3D avatar and AR camera rather than a partner-style experience. Both offer free tiers, so you can try each before committing.Bottom line: For the long-distance-partner use case specifically, FlirtAlly's relationship mechanics — companions who text first, real PSTN phone lines, 2-way email, physical mail, and 16 real games — map directly onto what a distant partner relationship needs, at a lower entry price ($9.99/mo vs Replika Pro's reported $19.99/mo). Replika wins on maturity, community size, and emotional-wellbeing focus, so it remains the pick for friendship and self-reflection rather than partner-style companionship.
