Nomi remains the better pick if deep, evolving conversation is your priority; its 2026 review scores of 4.7/5 for conversation and 4.8/5 for memory are the strongest documented in this comparison.

Is Nomi safe and private for adults?

Nomi is strictly 18+ — its terms of service require users to be at least 18 and state that accounts suspected of belonging to minors are suspended or terminated. Chats are anonymized and, per Nomi's site, no chat data is shared with third-party sites. Its terms also contain an arbitration clause and class action waiver, and Nomi explicitly states its AI should never be relied on for medical, mental-health, or professional advice.

Is FlirtAlly an unrestricted AI companion app?

No — and FlirtAlly treats that honesty as a feature. The default experience is PG/Flirt; the 18+ 'Spicy' side is opt-in and requires ID-based age verification plus a qualifying plan (Flame or above). The platform has hard-coded prohibited categories, media scene screening, and in-app reporting. If you're specifically seeking a fully unrestricted app, that's a reason to look elsewhere.

Which app has better AI images and videos?

Both enforce likeness consistency but differently. Nomi's V5 image system uses Anchors to keep a companion's face, body, and overall likeness consistent across images and short AI videos, and was rated 4.2/5 in the 2026 review. FlirtAlly identity-checks every render — selfies (3 credits), lip-synced video messages in her voice (40 credits/10 seconds), and couple photos rendered with your uploaded face (5 credits) — against her canonical face, and adds a wardrobe system where uploaded real clothing appears in later media.
