How much does Linky cost in 2026?

Linky is free to use with the full 180,000-character library, capped at roughly 20–30 messages per day with ads after nearly every reply. Premium costs $17 per month or $109 per year (about $9 per month), removing ads and unlocking voice calls, NSFW toggles, expanded memory, and priority responses. Note that premium access ends the day you cancel.

Is Linky free tier actually usable?

It's usable but heavily ad-supported. A September 2026 hands-on test counted 186 full-screen ads across five unpaid evenings — one after nearly every reply, plus a steady drip while browsing the Buzz feed — and some ads froze the app entirely on certain Wi-Fi networks until force-restart. Message caps sit around 20–30 per day, and conversation memory typically doesn't survive a session.

Does Linky have voice calls?

Yes, but they're gated: 5-minute voice calls unlock at bonding level 4 (earned by chatting regularly) and are premium-only. Voice quality is described as decent, with distinct voices per character and a realistic call flow with ringing and a hang-up button. FlirtAlly, by comparison, includes real-time calls from its free tier (3 minutes/day) and even gives companions real phone numbers you can dial.

Is Linky safe and does it allow NSFW content?

Linky requires users to be 16+ on Android and 18+ on iOS, and it has a mature-content toggle that some competing apps don't offer — though NSFW toggles are locked behind Premium. FlirtAlly takes a different approach: PG/Flirt is the default experience, and the 18+ 'Spicy' side requires ID-based age verification plus a Flame-or-above plan, with hard-coded prohibited categories and media scene screening.

Why do Linky's ratings look good but reviews feel negative?

An NLP analysis of 7,435 combined Linky reviews found 67% negative user sentiment despite a 4.4-star App Store rating (and 3.9 stars across 120,000 Google Play reviews). The gap comes from flashy onboarding that impresses in the first session, followed by bugs, memory resets, and monetization friction — the ad load and paywall prompts that accumulate over weeks of use.

Is FlirtAlly free to try?

Yes — guests can chat immediately with 25 messages per day, one companion, one photo and one voice note daily, and no account needed. Signing up with an email grants 25 bonus credits and keeps every conversation. Paid plans start at Spark, $9.99/month with 250 credits, unlimited chat, and a 30-day memory window.
